A Great New Way to Search for Old Homes

Published by whitepines at 2:16 pm under Buying an Old House Edit This

I found a wonderful new house search engine this week - redfin.com . This site gathers so much of the information I’ve been using two or three sites to research in one easy place. Tax records, previous sales info and more all right there. I absolutely love how fast and easy it is to use! No more finding a house that looks promising and opening the state real property database to see how much it sold for previously. Hooray!

The thing I really like is how it tells you what other similar homes in the area sold for recently. It really helps you see right away if a home is overpriced in today’s market.
